The Company policy of continuous improvement is driven by the information gathered from our customer satisfaction surveys, other similar feedback and regular reviews of contractual and internal targets and objectives. This is based on fully understanding and accepting customers’ requirements at every stage of our involvement and irrespective of the nature of the work we are asked to do. These universal standards will be applied from the moment the customer first contacts us, through the actual work being done, any after care and also by the day-to-day transactions of management and staff. We also intend to work closely with our partners, suppliers and sub-contractors (when applicable) to provide work of an outstanding quality first time.
Lifework’s management team is responsible for ensuring that we operate to these standards and also for the development and implementation of new policies to meet and exceed our customers’ requirements, however all employees are made aware of the role they play and are expected to take pride in the services they deliver.
For this policy to succeed, the management ensures that Lifework will:
- Regularly review internal quality systems to ensure continual improvement with the aid of customer feedback, job sheets and any other relevant information
- Measure and improve company performance through the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), both those developed in house and those which form contractual obligations
- Ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities within the Quality Assurance Policy
- Promote team work at all levels to include daily job chats and tool box talks
- Provide resources and training necessary to ensure employees meet the required level of quality and performance to maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Carry out regular appraisals with employees to encourage a committed and motivated workforce to produce the highest level of service to our customer
- Ensure that all sub-contractors and others who are involved in our projects meet the required quality standards with the aid of the suitable sub-contractor questionnaires
- Ensure Health & Safety policy is implemented at all times with risk assessments and method statements produced where required
- Form an effective communication structure including keeping the client informed and involved at all stages of the project
- Minimise the waste of materials and resources in line with our Environmental Policy
- Complete projects on time, within budget and defect free with the provision of all required documents
